I think I must have been born knowing how to sew. I remember dreaming about sewing when I still a very small child and just learning how to sew. My father told me I began making clothes for my dolls and mending my poor batterrd teddy bear when I was only 4. My father caught me using my mother's sewing machine more than once so when I was 5 he took me shopping and purchased a treadle sewing machine. That lasted til I was 7 when we went back to the same store and traded my treadle machine in on an electric sewing machine. After that there was no stopping me. I love to sew. I've been designing and making dolls for fun since childhood, professionally for more than 20 years. I have created wonderful patterns so you can make your own version of nearly all of my designs and hopeful learn to love sewing as much as I do.
